A brand new show choir, called "TheatreSong Collective", will be making their debut at the Ondara Theatre on Thursday 23rd May with a concert entitled "Broadway Chronicles".

The group's Musical Director, Philip Ashley, explained that the show choir will be focused on singing musical theatre numbers. Not every song will be sung by the full choir, some members will have the opportunity to come forward to perform solo, duets or small group numbers in addition to singing with the main choir.

The debut concert features many top well-loved songs from musical theatre through the ages from the beginnings of musicals in the 1700's through to the modern day. Including songs from The Wizard of Oz, Pirates of Penzance, Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Gypsy, Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon, Dirty Dancing and many more.

The choir is also looking for new members to join them in this new endeavour. It is not essential to read music as Philip will provide the music and learning tracks so you can practice in your own time and at your own pace.
