Philip Ashley is a singer and producer living on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
Philip has worked with many performers of varying types in the UK and Spain, on both the Classical and Popular music circuits.
Philip is currently working on a number of projects for 2012. With the groups he runs himself, and also promoting other entertainers.
During the summer months of 2011 Philip ran his popular 'Sing for Fun' workshops, aimed at helping participants to develop their singing technique, breath control and stage craft. The workshops culminated on the 29th of September with an end of summer concert called "The Party's On The House".
A new group produced by Philip "Amadeus" gave their debut performance in April 2011 at the Orba Casa de Cultura with their revue show "Merrie England: A Sideways Glance At All Things English" in association with the Jalon & Orba Lions Club. This was followed up on the 2nd of July with a garden show called "Tapestry: The Tapestry Of Life Through Music" to help raise funds for the Costa Blanca Anglican Chaplaincy. Amadeus finished the year with a series of concerts entitled "Welcome Christmas", delighting the residents of Ciudad Patricia in Benidorm and helping the brothers of the Franciscan Monastery in Benissa with some much needed fund raising for building maintenance.
Sounds Familiar will once again be taking to the stage with a completely new show called "Broadway Baby". This show once again focuses on Musical Theatre, but this time concentrates on ten shows that premiered on Broadway, with a selection of music from each. Shows included are Kiss Me Kate, Follies, Little Shop Of Horrors, 42nd Street to name a few.
