During the summer months of 2011 Philip ran his popular 'Sing for Fun' workshops, aimed at helping participants to develop their singing technique, breath control and stage craft. The workshops culminated on the 29th of September with an end of summer concert called "The Party's On The House".
The evening also raised a total of €364 for the Friends Of The Children Of EMAÚS.
Sounds Familiar's major production for 2011 was West End Nights, first performed on Wednesday May 25th 2011 at the Casa de Cultura in Calpe. A non-stop tribute to the West End of London with songs from many well-known shows.
While the show was similar in format to Musical Magic from 2010, West End Nights featured an entirely different set of music. Shows included in this year's offering were Phantom Of The Opera, A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady, Beauty & The Beast, Chicago, Chess and many more.
The evening also raised a total of €900 for the Friends Of The Children Of EMAÚS.

The first show of the year by Sounds Familiar was "Comedy Tonight", first performed to help raise funds for Jalon Valley HELP at the Careline Theatre in Alcalalí on 11th March. The show was repeated at Espai La Senieta in Moraira on Friday 18th March, raising money for the Alzheimers Association.
This show featured some of Sounds Familiar's best numbers as well as quite a few new routines and songs with a strong emphasis on comedy and laughter.
In total the two shows raised over €1500 for charity, and both audiences enjoyed themselves, even at Alcalalí where everyone made their way to and from the theatre during one of the heaviest rainstorms this winter.
